Geomaterials
Strengthening of slopes and splays is carried out by means of geomaterials that protect the soil from erosion. Geogrid and geotextile have a high level of elasticity, neutral to aggressive environments, can not be affected by UV, non-toxic. Traditional ways of strengthening the slopes and splays by monolithic concrete, concrete slabs or bars do not provide a reliable and long-lasting protection of splays from the damaging effects of natural factors. Soil stabilization constructions with usage of volumetric plastic geogrids can reliably protect the surface of cones from water and wind erosion.
