Plastic lawn grille is most commonly used to strengthen parking, car packages, urban green spaces, footpaths around the house and in the garden, for rescue and fire driveways, territories around the sports facilities, campgrounds and other land with grass cover, which are used for organizing and conducting festivals and fairs.
Lawn lattice has the following advantages:
- for loads up to 200 tons per m2
- weather resistant
- Easy-to-use, installation speed of about 40 m2 / hr
- easily transported
- provides 90% coverage of grass
- well-drained soil, waterproof
- prevents the grass surface destruction by the tires of the car
- protects slopes from landslides
- protects the soil from erosion
- 100% recyclable
Lawn grid design
Plastic lawn lattice has a multifunctional space modular structure. Lawn lattice is made of high-density polyethylene 100% stabilized by UV, impact-resistant and recyclable. Lawn grating perfectly lets water flow directly to the soil. Characteristics of the land on which lawn grille is installed practically do not differ from sites with ordinary grass by waterproofing
Modules for plastic lawn gratings have perimeter locking system which provides a secure connection between the elements and even distribution of the load between adjacent modules. Lawn grids could be bought with special colored markers-caps, through which various inscriptions and differentiation is created (especially on ekoparkings).
Installation recommendations for lawn grid
- First you need to pay special attention to ensuring sufficient permeability while preparation of the base.
- The thickness of the substrate and its degree of compaction are determined based on the nature of the load on the grass surface (pedestrians, vehicles, etc.). For roadway, for example, the recommended base thickness is 30 cm.
- Before starting the installation of gratings for lawn, you must put a layer (2-3 cm thick) of a mixture of sand and granite sifting over the base.
- Lawn grating is mounted in a staggered order or rows. Individual cell modules are connected with each other according to the scheme. Contouring and curved bends are easily achieved using ordinary cutting instruments.
- Lattice cells are filled with substrate or turf in two steps: before planting grass and after the screening. The level of the substrate after planting grass must coincide by height with the upper edge of a plastic lattice.
- The site seeded with grass should be watered regularly and it is needed to avoid moving cars over it during its germination. Provided the use of turf, you can immediately use the site.
- It is recommended to regularly take care of the grass.
